The
Sample Video is designed to walk the viewer through different
learning sections of both the beginner and Intermediate DVD
Series, and provide the viewer with useful information on
why AMP’s video lessons are exceptional when is comes
to learning violin. Through the lessons the student will learn
music theory, counting rhythms and reading note names. The
DVD lessons will take the learning experience a step further
by demonstrating how the new material affects the music and
how it is performed on the violin. Each 20-45 minute lesson
is made up if the 5 step method to help the student learn
each song. The steps are created to help the student really
understand each aspect of the music that is printed on the
page, by the use of, easy to follow, moving highlighted arrows,
featured on the DVD lessons. The music book is designed so
that each new song is a continuous learning progression. Each
lesson is designed to add to the student’s gained knowledge
as it introduces new rhythms and note names and how it is
played on the violin. The DVD series includes the music book
which contains easy to follow fingering charts and songs that
are printed for a violinist. The fingering charts are integrated
in the DVD lessons to show the student where to place each
finger for every new note. Because it was written for a violinist,
each measure has a bowing system where it tells the student
to bow down or up bow. Above each note is a fingering system
that takes it a step further by showing the student high vs.
low position fingerings, including where to hold down certain
fingers and bowing techniques like re-sets and slurs. With
all of this information for every song, it is easy to see
why the DVD series covers over a year’s worth of private
studio lessons. Learning from the DVD violin lessons, is like
having a professional violin teacher in your home 24/7, ready
to review, or to build upon your knowledge of playing violin. |
